Many believe that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and some research has shown that mental abilities such as reasoning powers and memory are improved by eating a breakfast. Also, statistics indicate that people who eat a breakfast are less likely to snack in the morning before lunchtime. However, what you actually eat for breakfast is equally important and massive fry-ups are definitely not recommended!! Breakfast should be nicely balanced, starting with some fruit or fruit juice and should be enjoyed as a proper meal - even if it is light and simple. (A hasty piece of toast gulped down on your way out in the morning is not good for the digestion!!)
